Women Helping Women: Resources from SCORE
SCORE (the non-profit volunteer organization of retired volunteers) has a fantastic list of resources for women entrepreneurs. Note how many are run by women.
I checked out several of these resources:
Richwoman: by Erin Kiyosaki (wife of Robert Kiyosaki, the “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” guy)
Womensbiz.us is an online magazine for women business owners, with articles about careers, sales, legal issues, spirituality, and even “his turn.”
Digital Women (“women with their modems running”) claims to have 16,000 members, and has links to articles about getting business loans, work-at-home businesses, and business how-tos.
It’s amazing how many women are helping other women. Certainly, these sites take advertising, but many are offering information and services for free. Spend an evening finding out more about some of these resources…happy surfing!

It’s so amazing how far women have come in the world of business. Its important that women unite in supporting each other in business growth. I think now more than ever, when compared to the past 200 years of business, there are many more opportunities for women to start their own companies and projects that technology wouldn’t have supported 30 years ago. It’s really exciting to be apart of the business developments that technology has supported throughout the past 2 decades, especially throughout internet development. My favorite new business manager that I can’t talk up enough is Microsoft’s Office Live Small Business, which gathers all necessary resources entrepreneurs need for web presence and business management. It’s so simple and easy to use; you will be amazed how your business will grow with their web application. It would be a mistake not to check out http://smallbusiness.officelive.com for further info. I’m always here to spread helpful info, so don’t hesitate to ask!
