Time To Make Those New Year’s Resolutions - - A Contest With Pimp Your Work
Let’s see…what business New Year’s Resolutions do I have? LOTS! Beginning in January 2008, I have lots and lots of ideas and plans I want to implement to make my blogs grow and create stronger networking connections. Celine over at pimpyourwork.com is holding a New Year’s Resolution contest with some cool prizes for contestants. Since I’m a BIG believer in goal-setting and resolutions for the New Year’s, I’m going to enter and make this my ‘official’ entering post.
For 2008, the main thing I want to accomplish with my blog at Biz Chicks Rule is to increase the readership by at least 50% in the first quarter. Kristen King (who also writes several other wonderful blogs) and I co-blog this b5media blog and are brainstorming ideas and ways to increase our readership. We have both set goals and deadlines to meet those goals and plan to hit the ground running (hard) in 2008. One thing that we have definitely decided to do is network and connect with other women in business and interview them and ask them to guest blog on Biz Chicks Rule. The blogosphere is chock full of fierce women bloggers and we intend to find them, interview them, find out their “secrets” and bring them to you. This contest is great for me as a motivational starter to get things “crunk” in just a few short days.
