Reasons to Be a Chick Entrepreneur
I loved this post from Bosshatch so much that I blogged it here and at my freelance writing blog, Inkthinker. Here are my favorite reasons to become an entrepreneur from a biz chick perspective:
20. You want to stick it to “the man”… or woman. You want to show your boss “HA! See this? Yeah, well now the rims on my car cost more than your entire net worth!”
19. To get away from the people who actually care whether or not I put “… or woman” after saying “the man.” There is always that person in your office that you have to totally avoid saying jokes to - as an entrepreneur, it is your employees’ job to laugh.
9. It is different from anything else you have done before… except that time when you walked naked into a frozen lake. That was very different…
7. There will always be something new to do - either with creating new networks or improving your business plan, there is always something. This is a challenging career move, but it is rewarding.
3. You get to see all of your ideas materialize in front of you. You grow it, then turn it into something that could be very profitable.
